Agape Physical Therapy

Gates

About The Clinic

Our Gates clinic, located on Elmgrove Road, is attached to the Total Sports Experience (TSE) Complex. At our Gates facility, we see every diagnosis and treat patients of all ages. What sets Gates apart from our other facilities is the number of sports therapy patients that come through our doors due to our association with Total Sports Experience. Our Gates location is accessible to both the West and East side of Rochester due to our close proximity to the 490 and 531 expressways.

Meet The Team

John Patrick Horan, PT, DPT
Clinic Coordinator

Hello all! My name is JP Horan, originally from the Albany area, but was brought to Rochester to study physical therapy. In May of 2017, I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nazareth College of Rochester. Along with working full-time at Agape PT, I am a per diem therapist at Highland Hospital, and a wellness coach at the Southeast YMCA in Pittsford. Aside from work, I am an avid sports fan (basketball being my favorite), a big time movie watcher, and love to enjoy the outdoors- hiking, swimming, kayaking, you name it!

The reason I wanted to become a physical therapist is pretty simple. I want to be the guide for others on their path to recovery. Whether you sprained your ankle, battle chronic pain, live with neurological diagnoses, or are just out of surgery, I want to be the one to help you reach your goals and full potential. The word, “Agape”, is a Greek word meaning, “the highest form of care”, and I look to represent that to the best of my abilities. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

My name is Tanya Webber and I started with Agape in June of this year. I graduated from Bryant & Stratton with a degree in medical office. When I'm not working I'm a busy mom with two kids who keep me busy. The greatest part of my job is seeing patients heal and strive to get better from a injury or accident.
Francesco Argento
Physical Therapist

Hello! My name is Francesco Argento, but everybody calls me Frank. I graduated with my BS in natural sciences as well as my Doctorate of Physical therapy from Daemen College in Amherst New York in 2019. I was born and raised in Rochester, NY and attended Gates-Chili HS where I played football, baseball, and I competitively swam. I decided to become a physical therapist after tearing my ACL playing football in high school, and going through my own bout of physical therapy. I enjoy working out, running, playing and watching sports. I pride myself on getting to know every patient and working with you to achieve your goals. I look forward to working with you!
